Pottery - Textured Mug Hand Building ~ Nov 12th
In this workshop you will start with a block of clay, and using your imagination, will create a useable mug. There are many techniques and ways to accomplish a textured mug, however, I will be teaching my favourite method ~ Simple yet elegant and practical! Learn the process of molding and shaping a piece of clay into a piece of art. Next, we will be using underglaze to add colour and design to your creation.
Once the session is over, the potters here at Forest Cove will put a clear coat of glaze on your piece, and it will be ready for pick up 2 weeks later after they have been put through process of the kilns. (Glazing options will be discussed at time of session!)
All Supplies will be provided - This session is open to all ages, bring your family and/or a friend!
